If you are still unaware of what is the latest news in the sporting realm in Singapore, you should really really re-evaluate what you had been doing all this while!!!! Unless you are mugging for your exams, or doing something uber important, you should have no reason not to know that SINGAPORE TABLE TENNIS WOMEN'S OLYMPICS have won a silver medal!!! Whoo hoo!

This time round... Li Jiawei was outshone by compatriot, Feng Tianwei. Tianwei was up against Korea on the final game as both teams were level at 2-2 match. She was really composed and steady and managed to took the game and as they say.. they rest is history. I think it is a great accomplishment, so kudos to the team.

However, I would like to mention something about the other player in the team, Wang Yue Gu, whom I had been calling Ah Gu. Haha! But she caught my eye throughout the matches, cuz even though she was not involved in any crucial games, she is one of those players that ooze steadiness and calmness. Kudos to AH GU!!!!! Whoo hoo!

I did a search online and check the ranking of the players and to my surprise.... the players for the China and Singapore are in the Top Ten ranking of the International Table Tennis Federation! Amazing! Yes! Li Jiawei is seeded 6th, Wang Yeu Gu is seeded 7th!!!! Feng Tianwei is seeded 9th!!! Wow... of course the China Team players were seeded 1st, 2nd and 5th.














Till 2012 London Olympics... We will celebrate this moment, where we brought home a medal after 48 years. They worked really hard and their hard work paid off..Well done!
